Bringing together some of the biggest names in pop for a special one-off gig this December is Cool FM’s “Jingle Ball Live!” at the Odyssey Arena.
With JLS, Matt Cardle, Labrinth, Misha B, Amelia Lily and many more acts confirmed, it’s the biggest concert Belfast has ever seen. Ahead of her performance GO’s Sarah-Jayne Cassells spoke to Amelia Lily to get the low down on what she’s been up to since the X Factor…
Amelia was just 16 when she blew away the judges at her X Factor audition in 2011. She became the first of the girls’ category to be eliminated from the live shows by her mentor, but was reinstated by public vote several episodes later – finally ending the competition in third place during the finals.
The 18-year-old, released her debut single ‘You Bring Me Joy’ in September, which peaked at number two in the charts and has been working hard behind the scenes for the past year on the single and up and coming album.
Performing again in Belfast on 3rd December as part of Cool FM’s “Jingle Ball Live!”, Amelia said: “I’m so excited to be coming back to Belfast. I have been there performing a couple of times and the people are brilliant and I can’t wait to come back. I plan to get the crowd going with a high energy and fun routine. I’ll definitely be playing music from the new album and my second single. I’m excited to see what Belfast thinks of the new tracks.”
